Faculty Research Programme shall be supervised by Dean MS through R&D Office. |

Permanent faculty shall write at least one research paper/case study at least once
in two consecutive semesters (i.e. once a year).This may be an individual activity
or two faculty members can group together for this purpose. |

APCOMS shall encourage permanent faculty to write books on various management disciplines.
Where possible the institution shall financially facilitate the publishing of the
book. |

|
Finalization of research topic shall be done in consultation with HOD R&D and
the Departmental Head. |

|
Faculty shall identify the journal in which the research paper/ case study shall
be published and shall be personally responsible for its publication. The same shall
be intimated to Dean MS in writing.

R&D Office shall facilitate the faculty in their research work. |

Annual Evaluation Proforma was introduced in 2005 at APCOMS. The research carried
out by the faculty shall serve as a yardstick for evaluating the performance and
determining enhancement in emoluments of each faculty member.

Research work in the form of research papers, case studies, and books shall constitute
the basis for faculty appraisal to determine the nomenclature of each permanent
faculty member at APCOMS. |

After approval from Dean MS, R&D Office shall issue the schedule of writing
research papers/ case studies by individual / grouped faculty members. Progress
on research work shall be monitored through monthly progress reports by the faculty
concerned. |

R&D Office shall organize regular workshops on research methodology and writing
case studies.

Each permanent faculty shall identify/ propose the name of a current student to
serve as Research Associate who shall assist the faculty in the research work...
Each Research Associate shall be paid a monthly honorarium of Rs. 1500- 2000 per
month. |
